They assume you are solving for Yellow on top, and are easier if you are right handed. See notation.html for diagrams of the different moves if you are not familiar with standard cube notation. The diagrams show the U face and its four sides. The black arrows indicate pieces that move/swap. The black lines indicate places to look for color matches by Kian's orientation. The white lines indicate places to look for color matches by my orientation (I rotate Sune and AntiSune patterns to the way I learned them).
Yellow corners all up, one matching corner side pair on L, the corners on the R need to be swapped.
