Simple Method of Solving Pyraminx Tetrahedron

This page lives at http://www.ekrohn.com/cubing/pyraminx.html. These instructions are only partial. The Pyraminx is a significantly easier puzzle to solve than the 3x3x3 Rubik's cube, and maybe simpler than the 2x2x2 Rubik's cube.

Notation

Hold the Pyraminx with one side facing you and one side down. Rotating the right Tip call the front face F, the down side D, the left side L, and the right side R. As with standard Rubik's cube notation, an R is a single clockwise rotation, while an R' is a single counter-clockwise rotation.

Orient tips

Orient the four tips to match the immediately adjacent pieces. This is trivial, but I find it less confusing to solve these first. I'm going to call each tip and its adjacent piece a "Tip" (capitalized).

Cycle three edges facing you

R U' R' U cycles the three facing edges CCW, however, it also twists the UL and UR faces (positions before the move).
